Meet the McCauley Family

Hello! We are the McCauleys.

I'm Candice, and my wonderful husband is Travis. We are blessed with four incredible children. From the very beginning, we felt a divine calling to homeschool, which led us to take the necessary steps to make it happen. Travis provides for our financial needs, while I stay home to teach our children and create a warm and welcoming environment for our family life.

The Journey to Creating Little Barefoot & Sunshine

Throughout this journey, I have used several planners, but each one fell short in some way. With no prior experience in homemaking or home education, I learned on the go. However, God has been with me every step of the way. Through His word, I learn more every day, and I am grateful for the incredible examples and lessons from others who have guided me.

As a planner at heart, I designed my first calendar to meet my needs at the time. However, as our family grew and our activities expanded, I needed something more adaptable. I needed a planner specifically designed for homemaking and home educating, allowing Travis and me more quality time with our children and each other. This need for simplicity and more family adventures led to the creation of Little Barefoot & Sunshine.

After many revisions and beta testing with friends and family, I have developed a final, excellent handmade product now available to you! Each product is handcrafted, carefully proofed, and packaged with love and a commitment to excellence.
